What is Celtrino Express?

The RX Marketplace is a comprehensive and managed online marketplace allowing authorised users to sell and purchase Rx products within a managed community. Pharmacy Rx systems can send PIMS compliant orders to the Rx Marketplace for allocation to the lowest cost supplier for a particular product. Suppliers will in turn, receive PIMS complaint orders from the Rx Marketplace and respond with an order response confirming fulfilment which will be send back to the ordering Pharmacy.

What is the Rx Marketplace?

The Rx Marketplace is available through a public accessible and secure internet URL using authorised and secure user ID/email address and password combination. Authentication details will be provided by the Rx Marketplace administrator or a member of the Celtrino Customer Care team once the membership application has been processed.

RX Marketplace - Pharmacy services model explained

The Rx Marketplace supports customisable functionality based on the role of the configured logged in user type. Authorised Pharmacies can submit orders to the marketplace from a PIMS compliant terminal using the PIMS standard protocol. Orders will be processed automatically on the marketplace and sent to marketplace suppliers for fulfilment. Supplier order response messages will be made available for Pharmacy download. Note; goods delivery is outside the scope of the Rx Marketplace and will take place directly between the Supplier and the ordering Pharmacy.

RX Marketplace - Supplier services model explained

Suppliers will receive PIMS compliant Pharmacy orders to which they are required to respond with and order response confirming fulfilment capability. This order response is made available for download by the ordering Pharmacy. Ideally the order to order response cycle time should be as short as possible so as to provide real-time order status updating.

RX Marketplace - UniPhar Buyer services model explained

The Rx Marketplace is hosted and managed by Celtrino for and on behalf of UniPhar PLC. The UniPhar buyer(s) manage the Rx Marketplace in terms of products and pricing on a daily basis. Supplier and Pharmacy onboarding is also managed by the UniPhar marketplace administrator.

Is the service available outside Ireland?

Yes, access to the Rx Marketplace is through a publically accessible Internet link. All that is required is a computer with a broadband internet connection and an authorised marketplace access account.
